5 Easy DIY Body Scrubs for softer and glowing skin

 Here, some super easy-to-do body scrubs get rid of the dead skin and get softer-looking and glowing skin.

Do the scrubs at least twice a week to get the best results.

Follow up the process with moisturizing the body after scrubbing.

1. The Himalayan Salt Scrub


1 cup salt

1/2 cup of oil (Almond oil, Walnut oil, Olive oil)

Few drops of any essential oil

Himalayan salt is known to have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps to heal skin and make it softer. However the texture of ground Himalayan salt is quite abrasive making it perfect to be used in body scrubs. 

The addition of oil to the scrubs makes the perfect texture and moisturizes the skin at the same time. 

2.  The Oatmeal Yoghurt Honey Scrub


 2 tablespoon oatmeal

2 tablespoon yogurt

2 tablespoon honey

Oatmeal has the tendency to absorb the excess oil from the skin surface, at the same time it does have antioxidants. It has natural saponin cleansers. It helps in removing the diet and results in declogging of the pores. 

Yogurt is a good moisturizer, treats sunburns, and reduces pigmentation.

 Honey is also a good exfoliator and moisturizer.

3. The Rose Scrub


1 cup cornflour/ rice flour

1/4 cup rose petals

1/4 cup rose water

Cornflour is rich in protein. vitamin A and minerals that boost collagen production and make skin look firmer. 

Rosewater has antibacterial properties that reduce acne and is improves the skin's complexion.

4. The Coffee Scrub


1/4 ground coffee

1/4 almond oil

Coffee is an excellent remedy to be used for cellulite reduction, it reduces the dark spots and has anti-aging benefits. 

Almond oil may reduce the occurrence of stretch marks and treats dry skin. It also has vitamin E that promotes collagen production.

5. The White sugar Coconut oil Scrub


1 cup white sugar

4 tablespoon coconut oil

4-5 cucumber slices

White sugar is an excellent exfoliator that scraps all the dead skin and it de-clogs the pores. Sugar also removes the excess oil from the skin.

 Coconut oil moisturizes the skin. 

Cucumber produces the calming effect reduces the signs of pigmentation and sunburn.
